Dancing is her first love since the age of 8, without hesitation, participating and trying out different ethnic dances available in the school she attended has to offer. In Oriental Dance, Samra Said has been dancing for the past 13 years, performing in countries such as Cairo, Istanbul, Australia and Kuala Lumpur. She also has appeared on numerous occasions on television in Singapore and Overseas such as Germany, Korea and Hong Kong.

Back in 1996, Samra was the first bellydancer in Singapore to have performed in a Middle Eastern restaurant called "Cleopatra" which is now called Kasbah. With her strong Personality, Cheekiness, Playful and Middle Eastern appearance, she has never failed to captivate her audiences. She is one of the most experienced and professional dancer that has performed for big companies, to name a few, such as Sentosa Pte Ltd," The Scopion King", "Gulf Air", "American Express", "Coffee Bean" and many others.

Besides performing, Samra is the Artistic Director of Pyramid Dancer, who owns a Bellydance Boutique and a bellydance studio. She is also the organizer in Singapore to organize annually, "The World Bellydance Day" which is a charity event which falls on the second week of May and also the organizer of Asia's Bellydance Festival which takes place once a year in the month of October.
